Brian J. Mariash, of Merrill Lynch’s Sarasota office, has been appointed to the Embracing Our Differences Advisory Board. He will serve a two-year term. Embracing Our Differences is an area-based, not-for-profit organization that uses the power of art and education to expand consciousness about human diversity. It accomplishes this through an annual, large-scale outdoor juried art exhibition and a comprehensive series of educational initiatives, programs and resources designed for teachers and students. The Embracing Our Differences advisory board is responsible for promoting the organization's programs and initiatives, offering strategic direction and expertise, and serving as an advocate for inspiring a world that embraces diversity, respects differences and actively rejects hatred and prejudice through the transformative power of the arts.
