Manatee Considers Impact Fee Increase

Sarasota City Commission: The board meets today for a public hearing on a 10-unit townhouse development on Golden Gate proposed by Allure Townhomes Sarasota, along with other matters including policy with parking garage operations, park hours on Lido Key and a schedule of meetings for 2016. The afternoon session begins at 6pm at City Hall.
Manatee County Commission: The board meets Thursday for a land-use meeting and will discuss a schedule for increasing school impact fees over the next three years. If approved, the fees would rise to $3,237.50 for a single-family home as of April 18, and eventually rise to $6,475 for a single-family home come April 18, 2018.
