A ribbon cutting ceremony was held by the City of Sarasota to commemorate the official grand opening of the State Street Garage in Downtown Sarasota. The facility, located between Orange and Lemon avenues, features five parking decks that can accommodate 395 vehicles, plus an additional eight cars on the adjacent surface lot. Four electric car charging stations are available, as is bicycle storage. Retail space is located on the ground level. The State Street Garage mixed-use project received an award of merit from the Florida Parking Association.
