Plymouth Harbor on Sarasota Bay, a not-for-profit Life Plan Community, will host an event on Feb. 26 to celebrate receiving the Governor’s Gold Seal Award for Excellence for the Smith Care Center. The award recognizes skilled nursing facilities in the state of Florida that demonstrate excellence in long-term care, promote stability of the industry and facilitate the physical, social and emotional well-being of nursing center residents. The event will begin at 4:30pm in Plymouth Harbor’s Mayflower Restaurant with remarks from President/CEO Harry Hobson and Vice President of Health Services Joe Devore, followed by a reception.
