Manatee to Discuss Treating Uninsured

Manatee County Commission: The board meets Tuesday for a joint workshop with the Health Care Advisory Board and will discuss funding for treating the uninsured and under-insured following the elimination of the Health Care Trust Fund. The meeting begins at 3pm at the Manatee County Government Administrative Center in Bradenton.
Sarasota County Commission: The board meets Wednesday for a budget workshop and will discuss outcomes of the just-closed legislative session, the future of the Englewood Community Redevelopment Area and a diversity hiring initiative, among other matters. The meeting begins at 9am at the Sarasota County Administration Center in Sarasota.
