Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners, one of the largest independent insurance brokerage firms in the U.S., announced the appointment of Shawn Hanlon as managing advisor in its Sarasota office. Hanlon joins BKS from Liazon, where he was responsible for building and driving Liazon's go-to-market and business development strategies for the state of Florida. He has served more than a decade as an executive sales professional in the benefits industry, leading strategy and sales for enterprises ranging from private, public and not-for-profit corporations. He served as vice president of the Benefits Consulting division for Brown & Brown of Sarasota and major accounts executive with BCBS.
