The Sarasota County Public Hospital Board appointed Bill Noonan to the governing board’s Central District Seat 1. Noonan since 2014 served as community representative on the Hospital Board’s Finance Committee. As an appointee to the nine-member Hospital Board, Noonan will serve until the general election in November. He filled a seat vacated last month by Alex Miller, who stepped down to run for the Florida House of Representatives District 72 seat.
