SCFCS Students Win H&R Block Honor

Three State College of Florida Collegiate School students participating in Deane Western’s economics/finance class each won $20,000 scholarships in a financial literacy challenge sponsored by H&R Block. Melissa Guet, Celine Jiron and Hannah Royce finished among the top 22 in the nation. H&R Block Budget Challenge is designed to teach teenagers how to manage the financial life of an adult through a real-life simulation. Nearly 155,000 students participated in the program.
