The Community Haven announced plans for a new 7,500-square-foot Haven Industries facility on its 32-acre campus, made possible by an award of a $225,000 “capping grant” from the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation. The expansion comes because the current Haven Industries operation has grown out of its space, officials said. The operation now has 200 clients with disabilities in various stages of training, working on paid employment contracts.
