Uncle Maddio’s, a national fast-casual pizza chain, will open a location in North Port on Saturday. The restaurant is located in the Cocoplum Villages complex. At the grand opening, free pizza will be served from 11am to 2pm. Franchisee Risé Johnson said the location will serve North Port, Venice, Englewood, Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Arcadia, Fort Myers and Cape Coral. Uncle Maddio's has signed franchise agreements with 67 different entities in 18 states.
