The School District of Manatee County announced five new principal appointments for the 2016-2017 school year. All of the positions are being filled by current district staff. Each of these appointments must be approved by the School Board of Manatee County and once approved, the changes will become effective on July 1. Appointments include: Michael Masiello, Ballard Elementary; Ruby Zickafoose, Daughtrey Elementary; Joseph Hougland, Stewart Elementary; Laura Campbell, Tara Elementary; Dustin Dahlquist, Buffalo Creek Middle.
