The Sarasota Orchestra announced the appointment of Jeffrey Kahane for a three-year contract as music director for the Sarasota Music Festival. Kahane is a renowed conductor and pianist whose appeared with many of the world’s great orchestras. He has recorded extensively and is a recipient of ASCAP Awards for Adventurous Programming.
