In order to become a teacher for the state of Florida, a bachelor’s degree is required. The Florida Department of Education shares the statistics for the percent of teachers with advanced degrees. The graph shows the percent of elementary, middle and high school teachers in Sarasota County that have advanced degrees, which include master's, doctorate and specialist degrees. The report was updated in June 2016.
