Manatee County School District Rating Outlook Raised

Fitch Ratings, a global leader in credit ratings and research, announced that the rating outlook for the School District of Manatee County has been raised. The District’s Issuer Default Rating boosts to an A- from a BBB+; $130 million in COPS (Certificates of Participation) raises to a BBB+ from a BBB; and $6 million in sales tax revenue bonds, series 2005 increases to an A- from a BBB+.
