Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources is opening a new library branch in Venice, scheduled for October 4th at 10am. The new library, located behind the Venice Theatre at 260 North Nokomis Ave., features a large collection of books, DVDs, magazines and newspapers. In addition, the new library includes a children's area, expanded reading areas with increased seating and more computers for public use.
