Friendship Centers Announces 2017 Board and Chair

The Friendship Centers, a nonprofit serving older adults in Southwest Florida, announced four new Board of Governors members and a new chair at its recent Annual Board meeting. The Board of Governors brings together regional community leaders from five counties to the govern Senior Friendship Centers and Senior Friendship Centers Foundation. Immediate Past Chair Kathy Silverberg, welcomed new Chair, Kevin Maisch and new members Barbara Kelly, PhD, Frank Fleischer, Skip Cohen and Karen Reynolds, DPN to the Board of Governors. Maisch retired in 2013 from IBM Corporation after nearly 40 years, and more recently consulted as a client executive for IBM Global Financing. Maisch was IBM's loaned executive to the United Way, working with various businesses to develop their respective charitable contributions program. He has been a volunteer on behalf of the Friendship Center's fund development for a number of years and has created value-added relationships with local businesses, vendors and suppliers.
