SMART Received Immediate Impact Grant

Business

The Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy (SMART) has announced that it has received an Immediate Impact grant from the Arthur T. Esslinger Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Sarasota. The $3,500 grant will be used to redesign their website to create a more user-friendly format and professional image, to provide easier access to online forms for participants and volunteers and improve the group’s ability to accept online donations and provide real-time donor acknowledgements. SMART hopes to unveil their new website by early March. They are working on the project with Bradenton marketing agency Deckard and Company. Located in eastern Manatee County, SMART is a mostly volunteer organization that serves over 650 individuals with disabilities each year, including people with a variety of challenges such as autism, attention deficit disorder, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome, as well as individuals with terminal illness, emotional or mental health conditions, and hearing, speech or vision impairments.
