The 2017 Nichee Awards have been announced and SRQ magazine has been named Best Niche Regional Magazine. To qualify, contenders must demonstrate excellence, creativity and revenue growth, including monetizing the brand in innovative ways with very small staff. According to the Nichee Awards, winners’ content is high-quality and targeted to their niche, and regarded as a comprehensive resource for their readers. In awarding SRQ the award for Best Niche Regional Magazine, the Nichee Awards said the following about the magazine: “Targeted, targeted, targeted. They stood out from the rest with their superior design. They also highly engage their audience through events, marketing, industry reviews and more.”
