Chris Bales finds inspiration in bodies of water from coast to coast. Sea shells on the beaches of the Jersey Shore called out to her to create her first hand-made jewels as a child. Now, the Gulf Coast beckons, along with the natural materials found in Mexico and Bali, fueling her use of colorful gemstones, pearls, fossils, shells and beads.
