Community AIDS Network (CAN) has announced the appointment of Nati Shabat to its board of directors. A native of Israel, Nati Shabat is the 10th of 11 children. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), he came to the United States and is owner/partner of McCarver & Moser Jewelers on St. Armand’s Circle. CAN is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, care and continual wellness of people living with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and other STDs. CAN clinics offer medical, dental, psychological and lifestyle counseling to all patients, regardless of financial or insurance status.
