Handmade by local artist Debbie Lynn Griffin, each piece starts with finding the right stone. Jasper, agate and green beryl stone make regular appearances, with the artist favoring those stones that evince earthen character through their swirling, irregular and imperfect surfaces, embracing nature’s paintbrush as opposed to polishing it to uniformity. With a stone to her satisfaction, Griffin meticulously wraps the piece in spiraling threads of pink gold or Argentium Silver, not only securing the stone in its setting for a pendant or necklace but offering its own artistic element to the design as a whole.
