The Lakewood Ranch office of Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS), the largest multi-disciplinary private behavioral health care group in Florida, welcomed board-certified psychiatrist Gabriel Lugo, M.D. to its staff of mental and behavioral health physicians and clinicians. Lugo is a bilingual psychiatrist, fluent in Spanish and English, double board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and general psychiatry. Lugo provides psychotherapy services as well as neuropsychological and psychological testing, and offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for resistant depression. He is an in-network provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida as well as Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United HealthCare and Medicare, among others. CMPS was established in 1998 by Dr. Geoffrey Kanter, a double board-certified adult and pediatric neuropsychologist and executive director of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology.
