Patti Squires is the new assistant chief nursing officer at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. She was previously the director of emergency services at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg. Squires has experience in medical-surgical, critical care, emergency and facility management. At Doctors Hospital she will assist overseeing nursing departments in the emergency room, critical care and the progressive care units. She will be involved in shared governance committees and assist with the Critical Care Unit of Distinction initiative. She is currently enrolled in the HCA CNO development program. Erin O’Quinn is the new director of the medical surgical floor at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. She has nursing experience in critical care, ICU and nursing management. O’Quinn was previously the nurse manager of ICU unit II at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. Kerry Shellito is the new executive chef at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. Shellito graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and is a certified dietary manager. He has extensive experience working in health care food service and was most recently the executive chef at Brandon Regional Hospital.
