Manatee County Hires Webb as Procurement Official

Manatee County has announced the hiring of Theresa Webb as the county's new procurement official. Webb is a certified public procurement officer and brings more than 25 years of procurement experience, including 15 years of experience as a government purchasing official, most recently as the City of Delray Beach Chief Purchasing Officer. Previously she was the purchasing manager for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority at Tampa International Airport from 2011 until 2016. She was purchasing supervisor with the City of St. Petersburg from 2002 to 2011. Webb assumes leadership of an award-winning procurement division which has earned the National Procurement Institute's Achievement of Excellence in Procurement from 2014 through 2017 and the Florida Association of Public Procurement Officials Achievement of Excellence in Procurement from 2015 through 2017.
