The Music Compound is looking to galvanize the local music scene by calling all Sarasota musicians and music enthusiasts to come join them January 13th for the Musicians Table. This event will feature five Florida based independent artists. For one night only they will all be in the same place sharing their personalities, stories and their music. The event will take place at Music Compound, a local business devoted to teaching and sharing music with students of all ages. Attendees can look forward to meet-and-greets with the artists, along with the opportunity to purchase their merchandise and receive autographs upon request. It is a bring-your-own-beer/wine event, but local food trucks will provide food for purchase. Featured artists include Tampa Bay singer/songwriter Geri X, American Roots and Circus Swing acoustic guitarist Dean Johanesen, Paul Formier of Wildroot, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Bystrom and local blues artist Steve Arvey.
