GATES Construction has begun work on an interior renovation at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, located at 6000 Airport Circle in Sarasota. The newly reconfigured Welcome and Information Center will allow airport patrons to access pertinent information about local activities, attractions and amenities. A large interactive touch screen will elevate the user’s experience even further. Display cases will feature information from various restaurants, cultural experiences, nature exhibits and boutique shopping throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Designed by Gresham, Smith and Partners, the project is scheduled for completion spring 2018.
