Sarasota Chamber Announces Small Business Award Finalists

The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2018 Frank G. Berlin, Sr. Small Business Award finalists, recognizing local member businesses and individuals in various categories. To be eligible, small businesses must be a member of Greater Sarasota Chamber, must operate with 75 employees or less and must be owned/operated under the same leadership for a minimum of three years. Finalists are judged on innovation of product or service, business growth and contributions to the community. In Health & Wellness Organization, finalists include Canada Med Services/Discount Prescription Services, Sarasota Sports Medicine and Elements Massage; for Hospitality and Tourism, Tableseide Restaurant Group – Corporate, The Sarasota-Manatee Originals and Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center Associates; for Non-Profit, Habitat for Humanity Sarasota, Meals on Wheels of Sarasota and Safe Place & Rape Crisis Center; for Products & Services, Gilbert Design Build, Sarasota Trophy & Awards and West Florida Insurance; for Professional Services, Tandem Construction, Three Six Oh PR and Music Compound; for Retail Businesses, Island Pursuit, Rugs As Art and CB’s Saltwater Outfitters & Boat Rentals. A Top Honor Small Business of the Year Award Winner will be chosen at the Awards Luncheon from the winners of the categories.
