The countdown has begun for the opening of The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime, set to be Sarasota’s newest vendor market. The doors will open to the public on Thursday, May 3, at 9am and continue to stay open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 2pm. The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime is the brainchild of Judy Alexander. This professional volunteer decided at 76-years-old to become an entrepreneur. She bought a warehouse and decided to turn it into an indoor market. Vendors have already committed including a bakery, artists, vintage clothing and barware dealers, jewelers, and more. There will be live music, a children’s reading area and each month will highlight a different nonprofit organization. Vendor space is still available. There is also a Community Room, which will be used for classes and meetings. The Bazaar is located at 821 Apricot Avenue.
