Habitat for Humanity Names Bilyeu Construction Administrator

Habitat for Humanity Sarasota has recently hired Danny Bilyeu to assume the role of construction administrator. In his role, Bilyeu will oversee the planning, development and construction of 20+ homes per year. His primary responsibility is to support the development and activities of the newly announced Hammock Place, a 40-home neighborhood in Sarasota that will provide 40 local families with a stable place to live. Most recently, Bilyeu was the field representative for Congressman Vern Buchanan in Sarasota County, where he has lived since 1979. Bilyeu is a former Sarasota City Commissioner serving as vice mayor from 2006 to 2007.
