Gail E. Farb, a labor and employment attorney with Williams Parker, recently presented at the HR Florida State Conference & Expo, the annual conference of the HR Florida State Council, a state affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management. Farb presented two sessions entitled “HR Protects Against Cyber Security Threats: Personnel Policies, Programs, and Personal Devices” and “You’ve Been Served! Human Resources’ Role in Defending Employment Litigation.” Farb has extensive experience in the area of labor and employment law, and advises private and public sector management clients regarding preventive measures in matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; wage and hour issues; restrictive covenants; whistleblower laws; family and medical leave; labor relations; safety; layoffs and plant closings; and military leave.
