Wilson Reappointed to Selby Gardens Board

Williams Parker has announced that partner Michael J. Wilson, a member of the firm’s management committee, has been reappointed as chair of the board of trustees of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. He has served on the board since 2013. Wilson practices tax, corporate and business law. He handles sophisticated tax planning and tax controversy matters, advises clients on significant business transactions and serves as outside general counsel to businesses of all sizes in many industries. He also advises clients on sales, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, capital raising transactions, tax-exempt bond financings, credit facilities, business succession, corporate governance, and other business and commercial transactions. A certified tax specialist by the Florida Bar, he also handles federal, state and international tax planning matters, as well as representing clients during the tax audit process.
