Tommy’s Express Car Wash has announced the grand opening of its new car wash facility at 4615 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota (just north of The Landings). This is the first of several locations set to open in the area by local owners Nick McMullen, Will Grosz, and Mark Mitchell. Oversized bay windows provide a clear view into the system as it operates, carrying vehicles along a 130’ “Tommy Transporter” dual belt conveyor system able to accommodate a wider variety of vehicles than traditional car wash conveyors. Total wash time, from entrance to exit, averages only 2-3 minutes. Self-serve interior vacuums stations are available for customer use on site. Customers interested in purchasing a Monthly Unlimited Club Membership can do so using the Tommy’s Express App (available on both Apple and Android mobile devices). Membership costs will run between $19.99 and $29.99. Once activated and registered with the appropriate license plate number, the car wash will automatically recognize and admit customer vehicles, with exclusive access to the wash’s member’s-only APP lane.
