Supervisor of Elections Sending Sample Ballots to County Voters

Government

Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner is sending sample ballots this week to all county voters who have not requested vote-by-mail ballots for the November 6 general election. Turner stresses that the November 6 ballot is a 17-inch, 2-sided ballot, chock-full of candidate races, proposed constitutional amendments and county and municipal charter questions. He urges voters to study their sample ballots before voting and recommends marking them and taking them when they go to vote to use as a reference guide. Voters are allowed to bring in pre-marked sample ballots or reference materials for their personal use. All voters may also download personalized sample ballots at SarasotaVotes.com.  A link to sample ballots is located on the homepage. For assistance or more information, voters may call 941.861.8600 or visit the SarasotaVotes website below.
