Business

The Friends of Manatee County Animal Services and event sponsor, Jen Bowman of Keller Williams on the Water, have announced the 2nd Annual Jewelry to the Rescue event at Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. The event will take place on November 18 from 1pm to 4pm. Over 800 pounds of pre-owned jewelry will be available for sale. The variety of jewelry ranges from fine gemstones, to real gold and silver to costume pieces. Bring a piece of jewelry or $5 for entry. The afternoon of jewelry will also include raffles and special Happy Hour food and drink prices from Eliza Ann's Coastal Kitchen. All the proceeds benefit the Friends of Manatee County Animal Services, a nonprofit that works hand and hand with Manatee County Animal Services to enrich the lives of the shelter animals by raising funds to provide additional resources, medical care and heartworm treatment.
