SRQ Magazine welcomed the community into their new SB2 location hosted at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota last Thursday, November 29 to kick off the season of SB2 Symposia. Guests heard a thought provoking presentation by keynote Mark Brewer of the Central Florida Foundation, followed by an engaging panel discussion with local knowledge powerhouses - Roxie Jerde, Community Foundation of Sarasota County; Mark Pritchett, Gulf Coast Community Foundation; Teri Hansen, Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation; Susie Bowie, Manatee Community Foundation and Brian J. Mariash, Mariash Lowther Wealth Management. The luncheon culminated with the Good Hero Philanthropic Award Ceremony where SRQ Magazine and Award Sponsor JFCS of the Suncoast celebrated six special honorees who, through their gifts have made an indelible impact on our community.
