Motorworks Announces Five Year Anniversary Festivities

Arts & Culture

Motorworks Brewing is celebrating five years as a brewery and five years of beer with a special Beer Garden Bash and double bottle release beginning January 25th and running through the weekend. After launching its sour program in January of last year, “Fermentis Camino”—the tart, funky, oak-matured spontaneous wild ale inoculated in the truck bed of Lead Brewer Jose Martinez’s El Camino Conquista—is ready to drink, and Motorworks is releasing it in 550ml corked-and-capped bottles, alongside 750ml bottles of “Cladogenesis,” a distinctly fruity mixed-culture wild ale brewed in collaboration with Inoculum Ale Works.

Additionally, Motorworks Brewing will be pouring its own beer on each of its thirty taps, and the Betty Fox Band will be kicking off the weekend festivities with live music. And in the Beer Garden on Saturday, January 26, at 12PM the brewery will host “Craft Beer Olympics”—a round-robin style tournament in which guests can test their mettle against Motorworks’ employees in friendly contests of cornhole, bocce, giant Connect Four and much more for a chance to win brewery swag and special prizes.
