J.E. Charlotte Construction Begins Tencon Beach Renovations

J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp., a Venice-based commercial construction company, recently began the exterior renovation project with all new site amenities for Tencon Beach, luxury waterfront condominiums on Longboat Key built in 1978. Now underway, the centerpiece for the more than $1.1 million project includes a resort-style 950-square-foot pool with two swimming lanes and spa. The space will also be outfitted with dining and social areas, two fire pits and an outdoor kitchen. As part of the refresh, a brand-new tennis court and shade structure will be added for residents, as well as a pavilion, pergola and a new entry into the Tencon Beach complex. Landscaping, irrigation, lighting and a four-foot precast fence will also be added to the condo community. DWY Landscape Architects was selected to update the grounds.
