The Sarasota Farmers Market has announced an updated attendance count conducted by Roger and Phyllis Barry. On February 1, 2014 attendance for a cloudy February day was 12,424. Roger and his wife Phyllis organized an updated market customer count, which included nine volunteers at different entrances around the market. The attendance for February 23, 2019 was 16,340, an increase of 31.5%.
