We’re in the midst of spring training, but more importantly, we’re in the midst of Michael’s on East’s “Bases Loaded Epicurean Adventure” monthly menu. This special menu celebrates MLB baseball in our hometown of SRQ. During the day, a two-course power lunch is offered, with a choice of entrée and dessert for $19.95 per person (available Monday through Friday, 11:30am - 2pm). A game changer from the baller menu for sure, is the Fennel-Glazed Maple Leaf Farms Breast of Duck Salad. Showing itself off in the photo above, the dish includes baby arugula, edamame, green mango and jicama slaw, uniformed in a kumquat-honey vinaigrette, topped with crispy leeks and served with chorizo chips.

Sprint in for dinner as well, three-courses take fold for $38.95 per person (available Monday through Saturday evenings). Stepping up to the plate, your appetizer pitches include Lady Baltimore Blue Crab Chowder or Camden Yards Beer-Braised Bratwurst. For the main course, Michael's on East chefs hit a deep fly with the Out-of-the-Park Pan-Seared Rainbow Trout, the MLB Home Run Crispy Cornish Hen or the Base Hit Braised Kobe Short Rib. Slide in to home plate with a proper finish with Cracker Jack Caramel Bars or Spiced Apple "Tacos” for dessert.

Forgot where you are? You're foolish to dine at MOE stadium without a complementary glass of wine during your triple-play dinner. Wine pairings are available for both lunch and dinner for $8 per glass or $15 for the pairing. Take a full swing soon, this “Bases Loaded” menu only lasts till March 30.
