Jim Shirley, executive director of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County, throws the first pitch at the Orioles vs. Mets game on Monday, March 25, at Ed Smith Stadium, marking the final game of Spring Training. The Orioles took a strong lead in the first inning with four runs, but the Mets managed a 9-7 victory with a three-run clutch performance in the ninth.
