Green Zebra Cafe, the airy cafe on St. Armand’s providing vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, along with all-day breakfast, fruit smoothies, wellness shots and fresh-pressed juices, will move into the former Mozaic restaurant downtown. The soon-to-expand move to Main Street is receiving a highly-anticipated welcoming by clean-eating Sarasotans. Green Zebra’s second location will feature a larger kitchen and more seating, while keeping its mostly raw menu of omelets, avocado toast, wraps/sandwiches, hearty salads, acai bowls and gluten-free chia puddings. However, rumors abound that they are also looking to expand the downtown menu with additional breakfast items, as well as more vegan and keto options. Green Zebra’s new 1377 Main St. location is slated to open this summer, just in time for thirst-quenching smoothie jaunts and getting caught in the rain.
