Sarasota County Hosting Community Meeting on Proposed Vamo Drive Park Expansion

Sarasota County is hosting a community meeting to gather input and ideas for a proposed expansion of Vamo Drive Park at 6pm, on Tuesday, May 21. The 2.8-acre waterfront park site was acquired in December 2018 and expands the existing adjacent Vamo Drive Park. Following a brief introductory presentation by county staff, the public will then have the opportunity to provide input and learn additional information. Maps, photos and other displays will also be available.
The community meeting will be held at Grace Church, 8521 Vamo Rd., Sarasota.
