Doctors Choice Home Care Receives Five-Star Rating from CMS

Doctor’s Choice Home Care achieved a five-star rating for quality of patient care from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This is the highest rating attainable and includes CMS reporting on eight of the 23 outcome and patient care quality measures. CMS created the five-star quality rating system to help consumers and their families, friends, and caregivers compare home health agencies, as well as choose a quality agency more easily. The majority of home health agencies nationwide rank in the middle with three to three-and-a-half stars being the average rating. Agencies rated five stars are considered to provide above-average quality care.
