DOH - Sarasota Celebrates National Breastfeeding Month

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County is celebrating National Breastfeeding Month this August. The department works to promote breastfeeding as a vital health activity, and encourages breastfeeding-friendly hospitals, child care facilities, work places and communities.
In recognition, DOH - Sarasota will host a Global Big Latch On event Friday, August 2, beginning at 9:30 am, held in the auditorium of the William Little Health and Human Services building located at 2200 Ringling Blvd. No advance registration is necessary.
