Despite your misgivings that summer is coming to an end, at least see out August wearing a bib and a swimsuit at the Labor Day BBQ at Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club. Waterline’s signature restaurant, Eliza Ann’s Coastal Kitchen, will host holiday weekend festivities on the pool deck and outdoor patio of Eliza Ann's. Whether a hotel guest or local, go and enjoy a buffet menu poolside, including St. Louis ribs, blackened local catch, barbeque chicken, Southern potato salad and baked beans, mango coleslaw, corn on the cob and fresh-baked cornbread. If somehow still hungry for more, the grill station will be flipping black angus beef hamburgers and hot dogs, grilled to order with all the accoutrements. For dessert, douse the summer heat with sliced watermelon and assorted fruit pies before diving into the cookies, brownies and cupcakes. 

The buffet price also includes one complimentary beer (draft or bottle), house wine or well liquor drink. Motorworks Brewing will already be there with beer selections on tap, including Pulp Friction Grapefruit IPA and other local favorites. Attendees are encouraged to stay for a full day of pool access, live music and games for all ages, including ping pong, cornhole and life-size Jenga.
