Manatee Diagnostic Center Acquires Advanced Ultrasound Technology

Business

Manatee Diagnostic Center (MDC), a freestanding imaging center acquired by Manatee Memorial Hospital and part of the Manatee Healthcare System, now has an innovative new tool for patient care with the acquisition of the LOGIQ E10 ultrasound system from GE Healthcare, available at MDC’s four locations. This next-generation ultrasound system is designed to help shorten patient exam times while giving physicians detailed information to help make informed diagnoses and treatment decisions for patients. The LOGIQ E10 acquires and reconstructs data in a similar way to an MRI or CT system, powered by an advanced Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) with 48 times the data throughput and 10 times the power of previous GE systems. Comprehensive tools help to give clinicians the information they need for confident diagnoses.
