Mosaic Backyard Universe Opens on October 1 at the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature

Arts & Culture

The Mosaic Backyard Universe, the new permanent exhibition at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature for the young and young-at-heart to explore science and nature in a safe and familiar setting, opens to the public this coming week on October 1, 2019. Climb the Tree House-Platform, let your imagination run wild with the Cardboard Rocket and look for fossils in their Dig Pit. This brand-new play space was created to engage kids and families in hands-on learning about science and nature. From scale models of our solar system and a freshwater pond filled with turtles to the massive mighty oak towering above it all, this backyard will be hosting its new guests starting next Tuesday.
