A special guest will be in-attendance during Friday night’s playoff action at Palmetto High School. Congressman Vern Buchanan, representing Florida’s 16th Congressional District, will participate in the ceremonial coin toss prior to the football game. Kickoff takes place at 7:30 pm. The Palmetto Tigers (9-1) are hosting the Braden River High Pirates (4-6) for the Class 6A-Region 3 first-round football game. Harllee Stadium is located at 1200 17th Street West in Palmetto.
