Habitat for Humanity Sarasota Adds Doris Berkey as Philanthropic Officer

Business

A 10-year career veteran as a fundraising professional, Berkey is responsible for building a comprehensive fundraising platform that includes cultivating and securing a mix of annual, major, and planned gifts. Berkey will focus on building a strong, diversified base of individual giving while continuing to grow Habitat Sarasota’s corporate partnerships. Another key role is to secure merchandise donations to the Habitat Sarasota Restore, which funds the organization’s administrative costs. “In her role as Philanthropic Officer, Doris will be instrumental in donor engagement to support our capital campaign, Lives Transformed: The Campaign for Hammock Place,” says Renee Snyder, President & CEO, Habitat for Humanity Sarasota, 1757 North East Ave., Sarasota, 941-487-5507, habitatsrq.org.
