Renesito Band Celebrates Five Years in Sarasota

Formerly from Havana, Cuba, Renesito Avich brought along with him the rhythms of traditional Cuban music when he moved to Sarasota five years ago. Avich and friends will now celebrate five years of performing in the community at the Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center on Saturday, November 30 at 8pm. The band will consist of Avich on guitar/tres guitar/vocals, Dayan Virelles on sax, Andy F. on percussion, and Otto D. Ferreiro on vocals. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for the general public.
